Minelab 4.8V – 12V NiCAD Battery Charger for Excalibur Series Detector 3011-0439This charger is made for NiCad batteries and is compatible with the Minelab Excalibur 1000, Excalibur 800, and Excalibur II series Metal Detectors. The Minelab 4.8V – 12V Nicad Battery Charger for NiCad batteries charges the batteries from a wall outlet.
This charger is designed to charge Nickel Metal Hybride or Nickel Cadmium 4 – 10 call battery packs.
It is a microprocessor-controlled smart charger, which can distinguish between 4 – 10 cell packs automatically and cut the charging accordingly.
4 LEDs display for Rapid charge/trickle charge.
- Red LEDs Flash – rapid charge
- 1 LED Steady: 30%
- 2 LEDs Steady: 50%
- 3 LEDs Steady: 70%
- 4 LEDs Steady: 90%
- Green LED – Fully charged & trickle charge
Flash Red and Green LED – Short or Reverse polarity or Wrong Battery
When using the charger for Excalibur II models, the charger also requires the Excalibur adaptor plug, to allow the push-in plug to convert to the 3-pin plug of the Excalibur battery pack.
