The Hema Maps GPS Navigation Module (HX-Box) brings over 40 years of Hema Maps' outback mapping expertise directly to your vehicle's factory infotainment screen via wired Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Rather than adding another device to the dash, it displays Hema's dynamic 3D Hema Explorer mapping with Australia-wide coverage, on-road turn-by-turn voice guidance and off-road track guidance for planning custom routes. It draws on Hema's database of over 1.8 million points of interest — including campsites, fuel stops, caravan parks and waterpoints — plus 1.75 million kilometres of mapped dirt roads and tracks across Australia and New Zealand. Built on a Qualcomm chipset with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage, the HX-Box also functions as a full Android 13 media unit, supporting the Google Play Store, wireless Android Auto/CarPlay, USB-A and USB-C connections and microSD expansion to 512GB. Multi-satellite positioning (GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou) supports accurate tracking in remote terrain. The package includes a 3-year premium Hema Nav subscription with live traffic and quarterly map updates, plus a 3-year Hema Protect warranty, for confident 4WD touring and caravanning.
